Scheduled Hours: 64 hours bi-weekly

Shift: Night shift, 8-hour shifts

Pay Range: $89.40 – $116.78 per hour

Position Overview

El Camino Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery team on the night shift. This role delivers high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using evidence-based practice while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
Provide safe, ethical nursing care in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support optimal outcomes
Support a healing environment focused on service excellence
Maintain accountability for the quality of care delivered

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Experience

Recent clinical nursing experience in Labor & Delivery required

Licensure & Certifications

Active California RN License
BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)
NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics)

Skills & Abilities

Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate effectively
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Comfortable caring for patients ages 1 year and older

Physical Requirements

Medium work level
Requires standing most of the shift
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Involves sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting
