Harbor Oaks Hospital, a leading mental health and addiction treatment center in New Baltimore, Michigan, is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our clinical team.
At Harbor Oaks, safety is our top priority. Personal Panic Alarm devices are utilized throughout all clinical and non-clinical areas to ensure immediate assistance for both staff and patients.
HOURS / SCHEDULE: This is a TEMPORARY 13-WEEK CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT (3 – 12-hour shifts with an every other weekend rotation)
DAY SHIFT - 7:00am-7:30pm - Includes Weekend Rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and coordinate patient care for physical and behavioral health needs
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and treatment records
- Communicate patient status changes to physicians promptly
- Provide therapeutic, professional patient care while maintaining safety and boundaries
- Support admission, discharge, and unit coordination activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligible to practice in the state)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (behavioral health or psychiatric experience preferred)
- CPR certification required (de-escalation and restraint training provided upon hire)
Note: New graduate RNs are not eligible for this contract role.
