Bel Aire Recovery Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to clients under a physician’s supervision. This role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning in a behavioral health and recovery setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical histories, physical exams, and clinical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic conditions
- Prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice
- Conduct daily rounds and collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff
- Participate in treatment planning, discharge summaries, and client education
- Promote health, disease prevention, and continuity of care
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Provide scheduled on-call coverage as required
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (state-specific; DEA as required)
- Minimum 1 year RN or NP experience with the facility’s client population
- Experience prescribing basic psychotropic medications preferred
- CPR certification required (training provided if needed)
